Hi, we're Joel and Jackie and we will be leading nine20 in Lincoln Hall this year.
Joel owns a full set of Crayola crayons (he studies Geography) and Jackie owns half the library (she studies English), but otherwise we are generally normal people and both have a deep passion for biscuits (and Jesus!) We will be living in Lincoln with you all year, so we will be around to chat and help you enjoy your first year here at Nottingham.
Every week we will be meeting as a group to study the Bible, eat biscuits, pray and generally have a good time together :) We will also be putting on events in hall, designed to spread the Good News of Christ!
The name nine20 comes from Luke chapter 9 verse 20 in the Bible: “What about you?” [Jesus] asked them, “Who do you say I am?” Hopefully, as we attempt to explore this question, we will challenge the people in our hall and grow as Christians ourselves.
