My favourite Bible character is...
At the moment it’s Boaz. He did the right thing at the right time, even when it could have resulted in disaster for him (and Ruth, and their relationship). Boaz consistently prays for Ruth, consistently lives by God’s word, consistently serves and cares and loves. BUT what’s even greater...Boaz (a kinsman-redeemer – bible jargon!) points to the GREATEST EVER REDEEMER, the one who would rescue his people, taking them out of slavery to sin, Jesus Christ! Do you know him? He’s rescued me, has he rescued you?

Less books this term! The Bible. Various Systematic Theologies (studying it this semester, even though I’m a History student!) Stuff on the Emergent Church. Commentaries on John’s Gospel and Luke too. Bit of Church History – we can learn a lot (Heb 11). The Heavenly Man. Pierced for our Transgressions (guessing it’s about Jesus). Redemption Accomplished and Applied. A.W. Pink The Attributes of God, Are Miraculous Gifts for Today? And Dig Deeper, Ministry by the Book, Disciplines of a Godly Man (better actually read it!) and Jesus Driven Ministry. Many, many more at home – mum loves it ;)
My last meal would be.....
Pretty amazing. Difficult choice...I like my food! Probably a chicken pie in there, (Yorkshireman speaking) Gravy is important. More importantly who would be there? And who would be doing the cooking? Wouldn’t you like to know...
