NUCU Uncles & Aunts

This is a scheme which aims to link up freshers with a same-sex second, third or fourth year in the Christian Union, with the aim of helping the fresher settle into university life, a local church, and the CU. As a fresher, you'll know there's someone there who'll be praying for you, who'll be happy to meet up with you and help you out - a friendly face in the storm that your time at uni can be.

The Uncle/Aunt and the Nephew/Niece could meet up together to pray, encourage each other with God's Word and generally help each other to live for Jesus here at Nottingham.

There's no pressure - you can do as much or as little as the two of you want.

We'd love to be able to link people up before the start of term, so if you're interested please drop Katherine Dixon an email with you name, email address, mobile number and details about who you are (eg. a fresher moving into Sherwood, studying Chemistry) and she'll get in touch.
